[REVIEW] Klairs: Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop

[REVIEW] Klairs: Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop

First post in the new digs! Hooray!

We’ve been in our new flat for a couple of days now and although you would think I’d be unfinished packing… I’m nowhere near it and what is suffering the most from this is my skincare routine.

It’s hard to practice my morning and evening skincare routine when all my creams, lotions and potions are all still packed away at the bottom of a box, beneath a dozen other boxes. And those boxes aren’t going anywhere for a while until all our storage solutions are delivered

Thankfully though, despite my array of beauty treats being buried, I did keep one or two (ok, three) products on hand just in case meaning my skin hasn’t been too badly neglected over the past few days of moving and unpacking.

So, which items did I deem important enough to keep with me at all times?

Well, you know how we all have our Holy Grail products, or those that belong in our beauty bible? Those are the ones I made sure were kept out, and available at any given moment throughout the move. More specifically my Nip+Fab Bee Sting Deluxe cream, Optimum Phytodeluxe night cream, and Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop*.

The latter was sent to me earlier this month by Wishtrend to try out, and y’all know how much I love, adore, embrace any product that will help me not only fight the aging process, but prevent age from coming anywhere near me. I also have a passion for Korean skin care and cosmetics which stems from having skin so pale I find it difficult to find foundations to suit my skin tone.

[REVIEW] Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop

Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop

Now, although it has a name that might have you wondering what new magically potion I’ve come upon, Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop is essentially a Vitamin C serum with 5% Ascorbic Acid and would be used during that part of your skincare routine. However, this Vitamin Drop serum has a thinner, slicker texture. The serum itself is not oily per se, though it does spread across the skin much as an oil would, and has that same consistency until it starts emulsifying into the skin.

It also smells quite citrusy which I find a nice change! Why isn’t more skincare citrus scented?

Anyway, this is what Wishtrend has to say about it:

Take care of your skin the right way with the Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop. Ready for a real product with pure vitamin C to transform your skin? The Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop is designed with key ingredients directly from nature and concentrated pure vitamin C for an innovative multi-solution, non-irritating formula to revitalize, maintain, and transform your skin! Don’t be discriminated against because of your sensitive skin anymore. Experience the power of Vitamin C with the Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop! Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop contains 5% Ascorbic acid and is suitable for all ages and skin types, even if you have the most sensitive skin.

As you can see, it’s incredibly concentrated meaning one or two drops is enough product to cover the entire face – though you may need an additional drop or two for your neck and décolletage.

Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop

Despite having skipped several steps in my skincare regime since last Thursday, this serum has been keeping my skin in amazing condition – it looks brighter and the slight discolouration I have on one cheek seems to be balancing itself out. Also, no adverse reactions (i.e. no breakouts) which is always one of my greatest fears when trying anything new, and another reason I love Korean skincare as brands tend to formulate their products especially for sensitive skin.

Now, I have read some reviews that the serum can cause photosensitivity, so make sure you wear your SPF on top of this serum if you’re using it in the morning. As I’ve hardly left the house over the weekend I haven’t noticed this myself, but it’s good to know!

Anyway, I’ve really enjoyed using this product, and I love the fact that it is so different to other serums on the market, and the fact the results from using it are almost instant. Needless to say it’s been added to my beauty bible, and I honestly doubt my skin would have made it through the move without it!

If you’re interested in trying this out for yourself, you can get 5% off storewide using the code FABFEB05 until the end of February.

Are you a fan of Korean skin care and cosmetics? Let me know your favourite brand in the comments!

xx Bry Jaimea
